My first $60k month took 3 years, here's how to do it in 120 days
It took me over 3 years to hit $60k a month consistently. Here's the exact road map so you can do it in 120 days instead.
Short answer
How can you hit a $60k month in sales in 120 days?
It took me over 3 years to hit a consistent $60k month, but knowing what I know now I could do it in 120 days. The map is simple: master discovery and objection handling at each income level, kill the belief holding you back, build systems instead of relying on willpower, then reverse engineer your number down to daily calls and run the loop without skipping steps.

It took me over 3 years to get to a consistent $60k month. I've since closed $9M+ in sales and worked with guys like Jeremy Mder, Matt Ryder and Ryan Peneda. If I had to do it again knowing what I know now, I could do it in 120 days. Here's the exact map.
This isn't about landing an offer. This is for you if you're already on one and you're trying to squeeze every dollar out of it.
Getting to 5k a month is just about moving
At 5k per month you don't need skill. You need a repeatable process, even a rough one, and a default to taking action. That's it.
The beliefs that have to die here are simple. Things don't just happen to you. You have to go make them happen. And sales is not some get rich quick bisop lifestyle thing. It's a profession and a skill you master over years, not a shortcut.
"You never are going to know unless you drive. How do you know you're good enough for that offer unless you actually do it?"
When I first got into sales I was living in my dad's trailer in Kansas. I hated it. I'm not a fan of the cold and the place was rundown. So I just started applying to remote jobs because I wanted to move to Miami Beach. I landed a SAS appointment setting job, not because I cared about sales, but because it got me to Miami.
Once I moved, there was nothing left holding me back to the old version of me. I broke the SDR record in my second month and got bumped to account executive after two months. My income jumped from 3 to 5k as a setter straight to 8 to 10k as a closer. That's when I got obsessed and started investing in myself for real.
Two guys in my mastermind prove this same thing. One hit his first 20k month after moving to Austin. Another hit record months after moving from Chicago to Tampa. Changing your environment changes you.
The biggest thing that slowed me down back then was I didn't have a specific goal or a specific why. My why was just "get out of the trailer." Once I was out and living comfortably, nothing was pushing me anymore. Don't make my mistake. Find your specific goal and your specific why before you even start grinding.
15k a month is about sounding human, not scripted
To get here you need more skill. You need a process that feels natural, not robotic.
"Believe it or not, people want to buy from humans. They don't want to buy from scripted robots."
You have the same conversation every single day, but your prospect is hearing it for the first time. Master that gap. You also need conviction, and conviction comes from comfortability.
"Comfortability equals confidence. If you don't come across like you're comfortable in any part of the process, it's going to eat at your authority."
At this level you only need to get really good at two things in discovery: future pace and consequence. Dig into what they actually want, get specific, get the why. Then dig into what happens if they don't get it. You don't need to be great at problem or pre-handling objections yet. You just need to handle your top 3 to 5 objections, probably money, time, smoke screens, and decision process, well enough to win 20 to 30% of them.
The belief that has to die here is your idea of what "a lot of money" is.
"If you hold these things on a pedestal, it's going to be much harder for you to actually get these things."
I had a guy in my mastermind hit his best month ever at 68k in commissions, got so emotionally attached to that number that the next month he didn't even crack 30k. High highs create low lows. Treat these numbers as stepping stones, not finish lines.
Ego is the other killer here. Once you're making 15 to 20k a month it's easy to think you've arrived. You haven't. There are people who have studied persuasion their entire lives and still haven't hit the bottom of it.
30k a month means closing twice as many people
Here you need to double your output. At 15k you're probably closing around 30%. To hit 30k you need to be closing 50 to 60%, with real systems feeding you volume, ideally 20 to 40 booked calls a week.
This is where you master pulling out pain, not just future pace and consequence.
"You need to be able to get every single person that you talk to to admit that their current situation is not acceptable."
You also need to get good, not elite yet, at pre-handling objections, which really just means spotting the limiting belief behind what they're saying. And you need to start closing 60%+ of the objections you actually get, instead of 20 to 30%.
This is also where "systems for sales" come in. Referrals on every single sale. An upsell process. A follow-up process that still closes 10 to 20% of the people who didn't buy on the call. A pre-call process that gets your show rate to around 70%.
"It's not about willpower. It's about setting up systems."
I block YouTube and Instagram on my work computer. Not because I'm disciplined, because I built a system so I don't have to rely on willpower at all.
The other belief that has to die is being okay with not being number one.
"You want to be so good at this that people question whether or not they're good at what they do."
One of my clients who just hit his first 20k month now has setters fighting to rebook other people's calls onto his calendar, because word got around he's the best. To those who have, more will be given.
And stop offer hopping. I told one of my guys he wasn't allowed to leave his next offer for at least 3 months no matter how bad it got. He's hitting record months now. The grass isn't greener, it's just unfamiliar.
60k a month is where you have to get elite everywhere
At this level nothing is "good enough" anymore. Elite discovery. Elite objection handling. Elite pre-handling. Elite systems. You're now also building systems for your lifestyle, not just your sales process, and negotiating higher commissions because you've earned the leverage.
The biggest belief that has to die here is that your emotions dictate your outcomes.
"Just because you have certain emotions, just because you think a certain thing, if you do the work, you will still get the outcome."
Elon Musk is the richest man in the world and by his own actions a deeply insecure guy, paying people to play a video game for him so he could look like number one to strangers. Still the richest man alive. Not because his mindset is perfect. Because he does the actions. Feel however you feel, do the work anyway.
Kill the idea of balance too.
"I'm 10 to 12 hours a day in front of my computer. I don't have balance. I really don't have balance."
I spend maybe an hour and a half a day with my wife and daughter in the grand scheme of a day. That's the season I'm in. You can build toward balance later once the skill and income are already built, but you don't get both at the same time on the way up.
Also kill the idea that your work capacity is capped. It's a muscle. If you're maxed at six calls a day, push to seven calls on half your work days until it feels normal, then all days, then eight. Keep stacking.
The 120 day speedrun
Here's the actual road map I give clients.
On the call, in order: mentality and authority, your opening, your pitch under 10 minutes, future pace, consequence, basic objection handling, problem, pre-handling objections, identity framing, then advanced discovery and objection handling.
Outside the call: mentality and quick wins, tracking your data, calendar optimization, referral process, pre-call process, email and text blasts, upsells, no-show protocol, setter relationships.
Lifestyle: goals, sleep, focus and state management, biology (sun, steps, clean eating), time management, environment, meditation and visualization, work capacity, financial freedom.
Pick one focus from each category every week. Don't move to the next thing until you've actually hit the KPI.
Reverse engineer your number. Say you want 60k a month at 3k commission per sale. That's 20 sales. At a 60% close rate that's 34 shows. At a 70% show rate that's 49 booked calls a month, about 12 a week, 4 calls a day consistently.
"That's your math, non-negotiable. If you only get two calls inbound per day, you need to find a way to get two more calls per day."
Daily: 3 to 5 calls booked, one hour of skills training, one call review, follow up on every stalled deal from the past 14 days.
Weekly: pick your weakest skill, build drills around it, review KPIs Friday, adjust next week.
Record and review at least one call a day. Score yourself 1 to 5. Write three wins and three fixes after every review.
And use your unscheduled time right. If you've got 10 call slots and an 80% show rate, you've got about 2 hours a day of gaps.
"You don't go on YouTube. You don't go for a walk. You do the actual work."
Send two text blasts a month to your whole contact list. Mine your CRM for no shows, no sales, and referrals during that same dead time.
The bottom line
It took me 3 years because I didn't have a specific why, I let comfort lie to me more than once, and I didn't understand that resistance just gets smarter as you make more money. You don't have to repeat any of that.
Get a repeatable process. Kill the belief that holds you at each level. Build the systems instead of relying on willpower. Reverse engineer your number down to daily calls. Run the 120 day loop and don't skip steps.
$60k a month isn't luck. It's math, systems, and 120 days of doing the actual work.
