Short answer
How did visualization help hit a first $15k month in sales?
It started with daily visualization, not grinding harder. I went from zero income to my first $15k month in three months by doing guided meditation an hour a day, seeing my reality through my own eyes, feeling calm certainty instead of hype. I still rewrite every missed call before bed. It costs nothing. Start tonight.

I know this one's gonna sound woo woo. Trust me, I used to be a hardcore materialist too. But this is the thing that actually got me from zero income to my first $15,000 month as a closer, and I've never really talked about it until now.
How I ended up broke with zero income
I got into sales right out of college. Landed a SAS job in Miami and made over $100k my first year. Not bad for a fresh grad.
But I wanted more. I wanted into high ticket coaching sales because the ceiling was higher and it just seemed more fun. So I found a sales manager at a big online coaching company, top 200 on the Inc 5000 list that year. He loved me. Put me on a brand new offer they were trying to scale.
It was commission only. I dropped my old job and jumped in, bright eyed and bushy tailed.
It tanked.
The top closer on their main offer closed at 6% on the new offer. I closed three times higher than him, but still under 20%. Not enough to keep the offer alive. They pulled the plug, and since I hadn't sold their main offer, I was out of a job.
Right before Thanksgiving and Christmas. The slowest hiring season in sales. For three months I had zero income. I burned through savings. My girlfriend at the time had to cover rent. I finally took the first sales job I could find, making around $3,000 a month on a weak offer with weak marketing. $3,000 a month in Miami does not go far.
I took a big risk, it blew up in my face, and the stress was at an all time high. My health was already struggling, and grinding harder wasn't fixing anything. It was making it worse.
The book that changed how I thought about this
By sheer luck I came across a book that got into quantum physics, the observer effect, and the power of consciousness. I was a staunch materialist at the time. If that's you right now, just stay with me.
The biggest shift I made was letting go of my need.
"I know what you're saying, but Christian, I need to push and grind to make money. And you can make money grinding, believe me I did. But it often creates more distance between you and your actual goals."
I was pushing against a wall. The harder I pushed, the further away the goal felt.
Why your mind can't tell the difference
Here's the part that convinced the materialist in me. Your brain can't actually tell the difference between a real memory and an imagined one. Studies show imagination alone can increase muscle size and strength, no weights involved.
There's also a plastic surgeon named Maltz who fixed deformities for a living. He noticed something strange. Some patients, even after their deformity was fully corrected, still acted shy and awkward like nothing changed. Others had a complete shift in confidence overnight.
He dug into why, and found out it wasn't the surgery causing the shift. It was how the person saw themselves. The surgery was just a trigger. Later he helped people shift their identity purely through imagination and saw the same drastic changes in confidence.
For anyone more spiritually inclined, Mark 11:24 hit me hard too: "Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall receive them."
Same principle. Believe you already have it, and it comes to you.
The exact visualization method I used
Every single day I ran a guided meditation. I would relax my whole body, empty my mind, then play out my reality as if I was already making $15,000 every month as a closer. Not some distant future version. My actual reality, right now.
Here's the breakdown I still give my students:
- Get completely relaxed and empty your mind first
- Play the scenario through your own eyes, never as a third party watching yourself
- Feel the real emotions as if it already happened
- Make it as vivid as possible
- Repeat until it starts to feel like your actual memory
I did this for an hour a day, sometimes two. I had to fight my own mind to actually feel it instead of just thinking it.
"It only took me three months of doing that every single day before I was actually living that reality, making $15,000 each and every month."
Keep the feeling calm, not hyped
This part matters. Don't make the feeling a huge emotional spike. You shouldn't be overjoyed or overly excited.
"I love my Jaguar. I love driving it. But I'm not overjoyed driving it, because I already have it."
That's the energy you want. Calm certainty, not hype. If you spike too high, you can't sustain it, and what goes up that fast comes back down just as fast. You want this feeling running in the background all day, not just during your meditation session. That's what actually raises your baseline and starts pulling the goal toward you.
Best times to do this are right when you wake up and right before bed, because that's when your mind is most suggestible.
Using it to actually close more calls
This is the part I still use today, years after that first $15k month. Every night before bed, I get relaxed, control my breathing, let the day's tension go, and quiet the racing thoughts.
Then I go back through every call I didn't close that day and I rewrite it. In my head, I replay the conversation going exactly how I wanted. I see and hear the prospect handing over their card info, excited to join. I feel the win.
I also run tomorrow's calendar in my head the night before. I picture each call going great, the prospect enrolling, me closing it. That gives me the confidence and the right energy walking into the next day's calls.
"Rewrite your past calls and picture closing your future ones, in the now."
Start that tonight. Not someday. Tonight.
The trap I fell into after I hit the goal
Once I hit my $15k goal, I made a mistake. I stopped creating. I just wanted to hold onto what I had built instead of pushing to the next level.
"When you stop creating and you stop growing, you start dying."
Keep reminding yourself of what's next. The goal isn't a finish line. It's a floor.
The bottom line
I went from zero income, rent covered by my girlfriend, and a job that paid $3,000 a month, to living a $15,000 a month reality in three months of daily visualization. Not hype, not luck. Daily reps of seeing it, feeling it calm, and believing I already had it. Since then I've built that into $9M+ in sales, and I still rewrite my calls every night before bed. If you're stuck right now, this costs nothing and takes an hour. Start tonight.
